Bitter cold across Indiana to start the week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The calendar may say March, but it will feel like January across most of Indiana today. Forecasters are warning about bitter cold temperatures Monday through mid-week.

The National Weather Service says wind chills could be as cold as 10 below on the way to work or school. There aren’t any watches or warnings in effect, but the NWS says the bitter cold can still cause frostbite on uncovered fingers and noses in just 30 minutes.

Wind chills will be between zero and 10 below zero at times from early Tuesday into Wednesday morning.
