HUNTINGTON CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation says that bridge rehabilitation is scheduled to begin on the U.S. 224 bridge over I-69 in Huntington County on Wednesday, April 24, weather permitting. Work will take place on Interstate 69, between mile markers 286 to 288.
On Wednesday, motorists will experience temporary lane closures on I-69 near the U.S. 224 bridge, between mile 286-288. The lane closures will allow the contractor to set a temporary barrier wall.
The barrier wall, as well as shoulder closures in both directions, will be in place throughout the work. INDOT reminds drivers to be cautious of crews working in any active construction zone.
