INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – State lawmakers and leaders in Indianapolis are reportedly looking to see how much it will take to keep the Pacers in Indianapolis past 2024.
The IndyStar reports that state and local leaders are trying to come to terms on how much taxpayer money would be made available to Bankers Life Fieldhouse under a new lease agreement with the team.
The paper says there is no final price tag, but negotiators are already talking about being in the eight million-dollar-a-year range.
