DNR puts boating restrictions on northeastern Indiana lakes

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Boaters in northeastern Indiana are being ordered to slow down on two local lake chains because of high water.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources yesterday issued speed restrictions for the Indian chain of lakes in LaGrange County and the West Lakes chain of lakes in Noble County.

Both lakes are very high after the recent rains. DNR says boaters need to slow down to be safe.
