FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – There’s a limit to where gas stations can open in Fort Wayne, but it has nothing to do with gas.
City leaders last night approved an ordinance to keep gas stations out of neighborhoods.
Councilman Glynn Hines is pushing the plan – he says it is partly to stop gas stations from selling unhealthy food.
Hines says without gas stations popping-up, grocery stores may move into local neighborhoods.
