LIGONIER, Ind. (ADAMS) – A community is celebrating a student credited for life-saving measures in aWest Noble High School’s cafeteria.
Titus Allard and Carl Galloway were eating lunch Monday when Carl began to choke.
That is when Titus sprung into action, performing the Heimlich Maneuver on his friend. Later, he recounted the event without all the fanfare. Saying he just did what he had to do to help his friend.
The Noble County sheriff’s department gave a special shoutout to Titus on social media, calling him a “hometown hero.”
