PRINCETON, Ind. (ADAMS) – A southern Indiana police officer is looking at official misconduct charges after investigators say he allowed a drug suspect to toss a bag full of heroin. Prosecutors charged Princeton Police Officer Brandt George yesterday.
Police say George allowed a suspect to get rid of heroin on the way to the county jail back in February. George says the suspect threatened his family if he didn’t.
George has been placed on leave, but Princeton’s police chief will not say if he’s been arrested.
