FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – It appears that no one will save Fort Wayne’s historic North Side Bait & Tackle shop. City leaders offered the building, which was built back in 1926 as a filling station, for free to anyone who would move it.
But, no one stepped forward at auction on Wednesday. Fort Wayne wants to build a roundabout where the building sits. Crews will tear it down in the next few weeks.
