Puppy found abused, blinded in trash gets new home

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A puppy found in the trash in Fort Wayne has a new home. Animal Care and Control yesterday said a family adopted Barry the puppy after his long recovery.

A garbage truck driver found the dog in a crate, in the trash last month. Animal rescuers said someone had abused the puppy, and he eventually lost his sight. There is no word on who beat or abandon the little dog.
