INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The state Senate is moving forward with legislation that would keep the Pacers in Indianapolis for another 25 years. Senate Bill 7 was approved yesterday.
The team would be contributing 115 million dollars for facility upgrades as part of the deal. A lobbyist tells the Indy Star that 63 million of that would be used for improving the stadium and parking garage, while another 52 million has already been spent on the practice facility opened across from Bankers Life Fieldhouse in 2017.
