The Club Room restaurant at The Clyde now open

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A new restaurant and bar in Fort Wayne offers a unique dining experience in a welcoming, contemporary setting.
The Club Room at The Clyde serves lunch, dinner, late night, and Sunday brunch.

Sweetwater Sound is one of the backers of the restaurant, along with the Clyde Theatre. Sweetwater officials say The Club Room also offers an impressive list of fine cocktails and a wide array of live entertainment.

Located at 1806 Bluffton Road, The Club Room bills itself as a relaxed atmosphere in a newly-remodeled space designed to celebrate art, food, and live music.
In addition to dining room seating and a full-service bar, The Club Room at The Clyde also has a stage area for patrons to enjoy live entertainment on a regular basis.

The Clyde opened in 1951 as a movie theater and closed in 1994. Under the vision of Rick Kinney and funding from Sweetwater founder Chuck Surack, his wife Lisa, and additional support from other community partners, the Clyde underwent a complete renovation and opened as a state-of-the-art music venue in May of 2018.

Since then, it’s been host to more than 70 acts like Brothers Osborne, Los Lobos, Ricky Skaggs, Flaming Lips, and more.

n as a world-class facility, both by the artists who perform there and the audiences that take in a show,” said Surack. “The addition of The Club Room is a way for us to add to that experience. Not only is it a great place to grab dinner or a drink before or after a concert, but it’s also a place to gather with family and friends for a weeknight meal or Sunday brunch.”

The Club Room is currently open for dinner Monday through Saturday. A lunch menu will be added starting Monday, April 8. Sunday brunch and dinner hours begin May 5.

“Our goal is simple. We want to create a warm, welcoming place where people can enjoy a wonderful meal and drinks, thoughtful, attentive service, and live entertainment,” said The Clyde Executive Director Gregg Coyle.

“We’re excited that long-time local chef Brady Smith and restaurant manager Holly King have joined our team, bringing their years of experience in the hospitality industry to The Club Room. We’ve put together a tremendous staff that will provide the best experience possible for our customers.”
