USF presents 43rd High School Art Exhibition

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts will hold its 43rd Annual High School Art Exhibition from Feb. 28 through March 20.

Artwork will be on display in the John P. Weatherhead Gallery in the Mimi and Ian Rolland Art and Visual Communication Center, located just off Leesburg Road on the USF campus, 2701 Spring St.

A reception will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 28, with an awards ceremony to follow at 7 p.m.

The exhibition features student work from high schools throughout Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Illinois. Works are first juried by the students’ high school teachers to a selection of 10 works by each school, which are then judged by a regional artist at the School of Creative Arts. Cash awards are given to the top artists as selected by the exhibition judge.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
