FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne police are looking for those responsible in two separate shootings that sent three people to the hospital.
The first happened on the 3500 block of Reed Street around 7 p.m. Officers with the FWPD arrived to find two people had been struck. They are reportedly in serious condition.
And just hours later, another shooting was reported at Lafayette and Oxford. That call came in around 10:30 p.m. Officers found the victim in a vehicle but do not believe that is where the shooting occurred.
Police reportedly think it actually happened near a vacant house on the 3700 block of Lafayette.
All three victims were rushed to local hospitals. Police are not saying if the two shootings are connected.
Officials have not released any information on a suspect in either incident.
